Summary and conclusions
In the context of rendering services to employers, the
role of PES is to enhance cooperation with employers,
bearing in mind that these activities may significantly
contribute to the achievement of the overall strategic
goal – reduction of unemployment and increase of employment.
The world of labour (dynamic labour market) is changing
rapidly and imposes new requirements that should be
adequately and timely met.
Public Employment Services should help employers to
better cope with changeable labour market and adequately
design and implement their HR policies.
PESs have important role in provision of advisory services
and implementation of various regulations referring
not only to employment, but also to the protection of
personal data, discrimination ban, labour issues, etc. Advisory services aiming at proper identification of
HR needs may significantly improve employer’s performance
and efficiency and facilitate the attainment of business
