The Agency is a public institution, composed of Central office and 30 employment service centres in the bigger cities all around the country.
There are 9 departments within the Central office and 22 units (2 independant units and 20 in the scope of departments).
The work in the employment service centres is coordinated by these abovementioned departments.

RELATION TO GOVERNMENT | |||||||||

The Government appoints
director and deputy director of the Employment Service Agency and nominates
5 representatives in the management board of the Agency. The Agency reports to the Government about the activities performed and submit regular annual reports and working programs. Many important documents for the work of the Agency (e.g. Statute, Rulebooks for organization of the Agency and for sistematization of the working positions) must be adopted by the Government prior to their entering into force. |

MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE | |||||||||

The Agency is managed by a Director who organizes and manages the operations, independently makes decisions within the scope of his/her competence, represents the Agency in front of third parties and is responsible for the legality of the operations.
The director has a Deputy Director. The Management Board of the Agency is composed of nine expert members having knowledge or experience in the field of employment, of which five are appointed by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, two by the Association of Employers and two by the Association of the Representative Union for a period of four years, and are eligible for re-election. |

ROLE OF SOCIAL PARTNERS | |||||||||

Social partners are important partner for the Agency. They have representatives in the management board. Consultations with the social partners play importants role in the preparation and implementation of new documents, strategies, acion plans, etc. |
