On 5 November 2015, on the occasion of the celebration of 109th anniversary of the existence of public employment service in the Republic of Croatia, the contracts of the European Social Fund financing active labour market policy measures were officially signed on the premises of the Central Office of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje (Croatian Employment Service). The total of seven contracts worth HRK 1,470,996,651.60 for the period from 1 January 2015 to 2017 was signed. These are the contracts for the implementation of projects under the Operational Programme “Efficient Human Resources 2014-2020” aimed at financing active labour market policy measures, as well as projects aimed at modernization and strengthening of institutional capacities. The contracts were signed by Prof. Mirando Mrsic, MD, PhD, Minister of Labour and Pension System, on behalf of the management structure of the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development", by Ankica Paun Jarallah, Director General of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje as an intermediate body (level 2) of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje and Mirjana Zecirevic, Assistant Director General of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje as a representative of the beneficiary part of the Hrvatski zavod za zaposljavanje.
